"Wendy," having been rejected by Dipper, reveals to be nothing but insects, before breaking apart and with the cockroaches crawling away. The world suddenly darkens, and a "stuffed animal tree," now revealed to be corrupted with glowing eyes, chides Dipper on his decision, with the animals warning Dipper he was always being watched. Dipper is terrified by them, but is distracted by the boy band Sev'ral Timez on a bicycle. When he turns back to the tree, it has returned to its original adorable state. Realizing how horrifying this world truly is, he announces that he has to return to reality.
At Superman's funeral, the attendants include the League (minus Batman), the staff of the Daily Planet, Jonathan and Martha Kent, several Earth leaders, and superheroes. However, everyone gasps as Lex Luthor arrives. Lois Lane is furious that Lex has appeared, as she believes he came to gloat over Superman's death, but she soon breaks into tears until Lex comforts her and genuinely admits that he will also miss Superman greatly. J'onn J'onzz pronounces a eulogy and the League ceremonially inters a coffin in a monument. As they bring the coffin to his memorial, Wonder Woman spots Batman watching the procession from the shadows.
At the morgue, Liv and Ravi tell Clive about Max Rager's secret lab. Major comes in and says that his trainee, Dr. Wyatt, returned his text. He thanks Clive for getting him out of jail and offers his hand. Clive shakes after a moment, and Major explains that the party is a lock-in at Max Rager's parking garage and has a prison theme. The gates will be closed at 10 pm and no one will be allowed in or out. Liv tells Clive that they're going to break in and free Drake and the other zombies. The elevator doesn't go all the way down, so Liv proposes that they cut off Janko's hand and use it to get past the security scanner. Major suggests that Wyatt might be sympathetic to their cause, and he could let them into going downstairs. Clive wonders how they're going to get out of the building, and Liv points out that they'll have 20 nearly invulnerable zombies with them. Clive says that he can't help them and Liv agrees, saying that it's a zombie thing. Major admits that he's not sure they can count on Wyatt.
While the Snail was just a running gag at first, he eventually became an integral part of the story when he releases the Lich in the episode "Mortal Folly". The Snail comes out of Finn's pack to wave to the viewers, but then falls under The Lich's mind-control spell and breaks the amber prison by bashing it with his head. He appears at the end of "Mortal Recoil," and once again at the beginning of "The Lich," still being controlled by the Lich. In the Adventure Time comic book series, he goes into the Lich's bag while still under his control and comes out normal again unharmed. 041b061a72
